Glebe Town Hall
A supergraphic inspired by the local wildlife.
The town hall at Glebe was refurbished in 2012 with a new addition, featuring a large glass facade. Taking inspiration from the local bats that are so prevalent across the city, and notably in Glebe, I designed a bat supergraphic for the facade.
Using the letters of Glebe Town Hall, and coupled with solid silhouettes, the swarm creates a distinct look and feel while also adding privacy elements to the new structure. The translucency of the artwork alters with the light and the day, giving both privacy and playfulness across the building.
