Biennale of Sydney
The curator’s concept behind the 18th Biennale of Sydney was all our relations, signifying the interconnectedness of art across the globe. Working with this idea, Collider designed a ribbon motif to illustrate the weaving strands of art practices. I worked at Collider designing the Biennale 400-page catalogue as well as campaign creative.
The catalogue contains a section of ‘split plates’ where the pages are cut horizontally, allowing the reader to turn the top section of the book independently to the bottom. This gave the artworks unusual juxtapositions, bringing the theme of the exhibition directly into the design application.
